Medical network was strengthened, investment in physical
facilities and technical infrastructure for health-care were paid attention.
There were 146 state-owned health care establishments providing
medical examination and treatment in the province. Quantity and
quality of health staffs were both improved. The number of doctors per
10,000 inhabitants was 11.9 persons; the number of patient beds per
10,000 inhabitants was 34.4 beds; 100% of communes, wards and
townships had on-duty doctors. The work of medical examination and
treatment was maintained with high quality.
Given the goal "Leave No One Behind", social security must be
well performed in a timely manner to ensure publicity, transparency,
and right beneficiaries. In 2023, the monthly income per capita in the
province reached 3,582.5 thousand VND. In 2023, the proportion of
poverty households in the province was estimated to reduce from 9.14%
in late 2022 to 7.71% in late 2023, a contraction of 1.43%.
In short: In 2023, despite facing many challenges in socio-
economic development such as complicated geopolitical situation
causing negative impacts on global trade and investment,
unprecedented hiking prices of some essential commodities and input
materials, no-small impact of disease towards agricultural production,
immense need for development investment amid limited resources, etc.
under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the supervision
of the Provincial People's Council together with efforts and
determination of all stakeholders, citizens and business community, the
socio-economic situation of the province recorded positive
achievements. Specifically, Economy witnessed a moderate increase;
investment attraction and budget revenue achieved positive
performances, the livestock showed its recovery and development,
industry production remained stable, much attention to social security
was paid and gained several achievements; social order and safety
were maintained./.
