IN 2023

In 2023, trade, service and tourism activities in the province
continued to recover in the situation of good economic growth and
increased consumer demand; especially accommodation and food
service. Gross retail sales of consumer goods and services in 2023 was

estimated at 30,534.69 billion VND, a year-on-year increase of 14.45%,
if excluding the price factor, the increase was 10.67% (in 2022, it was
11.34%), of which, gross retail sales of goods rose by 13.66%, revenue
from accommodation and food services expanded by 25.32%, and
revenue from travelling services rose by 39.48%.

Tourism activities showed signs of improvement with the
implementation of stimulus activities, propaganda and tourism
promotion on the media. Cultural, culinary and entertainment activities

on the night street every Saturday attracted people and tourists.
Accommodation and travel activities had positive signs. The total turns
of visitors served by accommodation establishments was estimated at
857.5 thousand people, up 76.64% over the previous year, of which:
624.51 thousand overnight visitors and 232.95 thousand daily visitors.
The total turns of visitors served by travel agencies were 1.35 thousand
arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 52.88%.

As of December 31, 2023, the province had 81 classified

markets, 40 supermarkets and shopping centers. A chain of convenience
stores was developed to serve people's shopping needs.
