TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATION IN 2023



                 In  2023,  despite  being  affected  by  the  erratic  fluctuations  in
          gasoline prices, transportation activities continued to maintained a fairly
          high growth rate compared to the previous year in both passengers and
          freight transport thanks to the continued recovery and development of

          the economy, and the increased demand for freight transport and travel
          of  residents.  In  2023,  passengers  carried  was  estimated to increase by
          8.95%, passengers traffic was estimated to rise by 8.30%; freight carried
          and  freight  traffic  were  estimated  to  expand  by  9.84%  and  9.31%,
          respectively.

                 In  2023,  total  turnover  from  transportation  reached  2,095.8
          billion VND, a year-on-year increase of 10.14%. By transport activities,
          turnover from transport by road way reached 1,727.93 billion VND, an

          increase  of  10.40%;  transport  by  inland  waterway  gained  3.52  billion
          VND, up 8.12%. By type of transport, turnover from passenger carried
          and freight carried soared by 9.83% and 10.49%, respectively over the
          previous year.

                 In  2023,  postal  and  telecommunications  activities  developed
          steadily.  Postal  and  telecommunications  enterprises  continuously
          diversified  service  packages,  ensured  network  safety,  information
          security, improved service quality, and met the needs of consumer.

                 Generally, in 2023, the communications services in the province

          developed  stably.  The  number  of  telephone  subscribers  in  2023  was
          671.5  thousand  subscribers;  including  665.2  thousand  mobile  phone
          subscribers,  6.3  thousand  landline  phone  subscribers.  The  number  of
          Internet  subscribers  was  662.9  thousand  subscribers,  a  year-on-year
          increase  of  15.08%;  of  which,  the  landline  phone  subscribers  and

          mobile phone subscribers increased by 9.39% and 16.57%, respectively.
