AND TECHNOLOGY IN 2021

In school year 2021-2022, there were 166 kindergartens in the
province, including 147 public kindergartens and 19 non-public ones. There
were 222 general schools (a year-on-year contraction of one school),

including 67 primary schools; 42 lower secondary schools; 24 upper
secondary schools; 80 primary and lower secondary schools; 06 lower and
upper secondary schools, and three general school (escalator schools).

In the school year 2021-2022, the number of kindergarten teachers
was 3,124 persons, dropped 3.55% compared to the same period of the
previous school year; 7,716 classroom teachers in general education,
decreased by 0.52%, including 3,555 primary school teachers, 2,571 lower
secondary school teachers, and 1,590 upper secondary school teachers;
100% of teachers were qualified as standard teachers.

In the school year 2021-2022, the number of pupils of general
schools in the province was 133,850, a year-on-year increase of 2.12%, of
which: 65,381 primary school pupils, an increase of 6.24%; 43,903 lower
secondary school pupils, a drop of 1.91% and 24,566 upper secondary
school pupils, a decrease of 0.82%. The general enrollment rate was
96.95%; the net enrollment rate reached 92.40%.

In 2021, there were 16 science and technology organizations in the
province. Total Research and Development expenditures were 20,083

million VND, a year-on-year contraction of 27.13%.
