INDUSTRY, INVESTMENT AND CONSTRUCTION

IN 2023

1. Industry

Industrial production activities remained stable, with a fairly high
growth rate. The province focused on supporting and removing
difficulties and obstacles for projects under investment, and additional
new projects were in operation to increase production capacity.

The industrial production index in 2023 increased by 9.73% over
the previous year (in 2022, it increased by 18.31%), of which: the

mining and quarrying increased by 1.91%; the manufacturing rose by
5.01%; the electricity production and distribution increased by 21.62%;
the water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment
activities surged by 7.26%. The production index of the electricity
production and distribution increased quite high thanks to coming into
operation of additionalnew wind power projects and the previously
operated electricity projects operating at better capacity.

Some key products in 2023 increased sharply compared to the

previous year such as: canned beer up 125.73%; electricity generation
up 25.71%; turpentine up 17.05%; Ilimenit ore up 15.30%;... On the
other hand, some products witnessed a sharp drop, namely: sawn timber
down 34.41%; plywood down 20.02%, black cement down 16.55% ...

2. Investment and construction

The realized investment capital in the province in 2023 (at current
prices) was estimated at 24,351.9 billion VND, a year-on-year
reduction of 10.16%, mainly due to the decrease of 10.94% in
investment capital implemented by the residential and private sectors
compared to 2022.

In 2023, the capital construction investment was estimated at

20,799.9 billion VND, a year-on-year reduction of 2.22%; the fixed
