• Number of livestock includes total existing number of buffaloes
                        and  cattle  at  the  time  of  observation  (including  the  newly  born  cattle
                        within 24 hours); total number of existing pigs, including pigs for pork;
                        sows  and  boars  (excluding  piglets);  other  livestock,  including  horses,
                        goats, sheep, deer, rabbits, dogs, etc. at the time of observation;

                             •  Total  number  of  poultry  included  number  of  chickens,  ducks,
                        perching ducks and goose raised for food and eggs and others including
                        total number of quail, pigeons, ostriches, etc. at the time of observation;

                             •  Number  of  other  domestic  animals  includes  number  of  bees,
                        pythons, snakes, etc. at the time of observation.

                             Main  livestock  production  is  the  volume  of  major  livestock
                        (cattle,  poultry  and  other  domestic  animals)  produced  by  cultivation
                        activity  and  the  natural  growth  of  livestock  during  a  given  period,

                        including:
                               Living weight production: refers to living weight of each kind of

                        livestock,  poultry  and  other  domestic  animals  when  being  sold  for  the
                        purpose  of  slaughter  (sale,  donation,  self-consumption  in  the  family,
                        etc.),  excluding  the  weight  of  livestock,  poultry  and  other  domestic
                        animals  to  be  sold  for  further  breeding  and  the  stunted,  sick,  but  still
                        being slaughtered for meat.

                             Output  of  non-slaughtered  livestock  products:  Products  obtained
                        during  the  process  of  raising  livestock,  poultry  and  other  domestic
                        animals but not through slaughter such as milk, poultry eggs, silkworm
                        cocoons, honey, sheep wool, deer velvet, etc.


                             FORESTRY
                             Forests  are  identified  and  classified  according  to  the  Ministry  of

                        Agriculture  and  Rural  Development's  Circular  No.  34/2009/TT-
                        BNNPTNT dated June 10, 2009.

                             By  its  origin,  existing  forests  are  divided  into  natural  forest  and
                        planted forest;
