FOREWORD

The Statistical Yearbook has been compiled and published
annually by QuangTri Statistics Office in two languages Vietnamese
and English. Its contents includes basic statistical data reflecting the

socio- economic situation in QuangTri province. All data are collected,
processed and calculted according to the current methods and
regulation stipulated by Viet Nam Statistics. Value added indicators of
industries and economic activities are calculated by basic prices issued
by the General Statistics Office.

Besides statistical tabulations, explanation of terminologies,

contents and method of calculation of some main indicators, the
Yearbook analyses and gives general assessment on the provincial
socio-economic situation in 2023.

Some special signs used in the book:

( - ): No socio-economic facts occurred;

( ... ): Socio-economic facts occurred but no information.

The yearbook is useful for leaders at all levels, agencies and
readers. During process of compilation, mistake is unavoidable. We are

looking forward to receiving more comments and ideas from the
agencies, units and individuals to perfect the quality for the next
